My Flower Boy Neighbor

A new drama is coming out soon and Park Shin Hye is starring in it and she's reuniting with fellow Heartstrings/You've Fallen For Me actress, Kim Yoon Hye. The drama is called My Flower Boy Neighbor/Flower boy Next Door/The Pretty Boy Next Door and is based off of a popular Korean Webtoon known as I Watch Him Everyday.
Plot: Go Dok Mi(Park Shin Hye) has locked herself away in her house due to and emotional scar. She refuses to step outside but she happens to notice her extremely attractive neighbor, Oh Jin Rok(Kim Ji Hoon). Unfortunately, she is caught spying on her neighbor by none other than the handsome Enrique Geum(Yoon Shi Yoon). Enrique Geum, Go Dok Mi, and Oh Jin Rok form a four sided love triangle with the addition of Enrique's best friend and first love(played by Kim Yoon Hye). I'm calling it a four sided triangle because it is Enrique in love with G Dok Mi, Go Dok Mi in love with Oh Jin Rok(and possibly with feelings for Enrique), and Oh Jin Rok in love with Go Dok Mi, with Enrique's first love sort of there and still kind of in love with him while he sort of feels for her but not the way he does for Go Dok Mi. Rounding off the cast is Go Kyung Pyo playing Oh Dong Hoon, Oh Jin Rok's freeloading friend.
There is a lot of pretty in this drama!! I'm super excited cause it looks like a bucket of fun! What's better than Park Shin Hye hiding in her house spying on hot guys? This Rom-Com is going to be loads of funny and probably a lot of cute. The team working on this drama is known as the "Flower Boy Franchise" because they also made Shut Up: Flower Boy Band and Flower Boy Raymen Shop. Airing on January 7th, the days it will show are Mondays and Tuesdays and will be 16 episodes long.
I don't know about you guys but I'm excited.

Baby you're like a Caffeine

Today Yang Yoseob's solo song "Caffeine" was released... Well it isn't really just Yoseob singing, Junhyung makes an appearance and he raps through most of the song. I want to say that I liked this music video, but I didn't. I don't like this side of Yoseob. The bad boy, dark side is Junhyung, it just doesn't fit Yoseob. Usually, I would love nothing more than for Yoseob to dance in my kitchen but i didn't like the dance. At all. I hated that they used wires in his dancing, he's so much better than that. I just didn't like it. I hated the idea of Yoseob being addicted to the girl, then she cheats on him with Junhyung, and Yoseob starts pushing her around. It sends the wrong message. Angry, abusive, boyfriend is not the type of image you want. You can be a sexy bad boy without being abusive.
This pains me to say it but, I didn't even like the song. This song didn't show of Yoseob's vocal talents. He's an amazing singer and for his first solo, the song should show what he can do.
I still love Yoseob, I still think he is attractive, a wonderful singer, an amazing dancer, his hat trick makes me fangirl super hard, but I don't think he should go for the bad boy image. He does look amazing in a suit and tie. Nothing is hotter than a man in a sharp cut suit with a tie and Yoseob pulls it off wonderfully. But I still didn't like the music video. Sorry Yoseob.

1000 Years, Always By Your Side

Yesterday/today, EMIMusicJapan released another SHINee music video. I love this video, at first I was incredibly confused but after reading up on it, I now understand what is happening. For those of you who have seen this video and were as confused as F4fighting! and I, let me quickly shed a little light.
SHINee are portraying Shinigami, which are Japanese death spirits. Shinigami are used to make sure a person dies when he or she is supposed to and to make sure that a person's spirit makes it to the afterlife safely. This is very similar to our American idea of a Grim Reaper, thought there are multiple Shinigami where as there is only one Grim Reaper. I was very happy that I at least understood what role SHINee played in this video. The lot of this video goes as follows: The Father in this video is dead, we don't know how he died but he is no longer with the family. His son is sick with something that requires an operation and the father wants to make sure his son pulls through the surgery before he moves onto the afterlife. After the son's surgery is completed, the father releases balloons near the hospital as a last message of hope to his son and wife. It's a really sweet plot and the director did a great job in the execution.
I absolutely love how the director uses light in this video. Yep, I'm talking about lighting, shocking, I know. He uses a sepia tone during the scenes at the bus stop to signify that the people in the shot are dead. When we have scenes that are in the past, the happier memories, we get a bright etherial lighting. During the present time scenes, the lighting is pretty normal but he uses shadows to represent those who are dead. A very beautiful music video.
Time for SHINee!! Oh SHINee. How I love them. Clothing is the first thing I'm going to talk about. The victorian-esque look really suits them. I love the black, the ruffles, the gloves, the shoes. I love their outfits! All the props they carry look like things they would use rather than just props. Onew's cane and Taemin's umbrella don't just look like random props, they look like items those two would hold or even use. Key's book and keys ^.^ seem useful. The song talks about inserting a key and opening your heart so the keys do have a purpose rather than just being cute, and the book is some sort of record of the people who are dying and who should be at the station and with he help of Jonghyun's watch they can see what time each perso is supposed to be there. Minho's ball and monocle aren't really useful but they still fit with the victorian style. I am so in love with Onew's top hat and Taemin's bowler hat, they look so cute! And the little Fighting! they give the father as the bus leaves the station was fantastic. And nothing is cuter than watching SHINee play with balloons.
Now I want to talk about SHINee as a group. I'm so impressed with how far SHINee has come from their Noona admiring "boys next-door" to their current more mature adult look. Taemin especially has come a very long way. When SHINee first debuted, Taemin was just the main dancer, a boy with a very small voice and he didn't sing a lot; currently, Taemin is an actual singer in SHINee. His voice has matured very nicely and he has worked so hard to get to the point he is now. I'm so proud of this amazing Maknae. Way to go Taemin. SHINee really is one of the most talented groups out there right now. They have amazing singers and I'd venture to say that they are the best dancers currently in the industry. Speaking of dancing, there isn't any in this music video. Very strange for SHINee but oddly enough, it doesn't look wrong for them not to dance. They look amazing without their dancing skills, which just proves how much they have progressed as artists.
Great job SHINee. Fighting!!

Humanoid...or not?

TVXQ's new MV Humanoids!!
I'm not crazy about it, but I liked it. The song is pretty catchy and I liked their dancing . I wouldn't call their dancing worthy enough to say, "Yeah, we are Humanoids!" But I liked listening to them say it!! Their cute little colored jackets are FANTASTIC ;) The head spin at 3:21 is classic. Loved that. Overall, good job, TVXQ!!! Fighting fighting!!!

Also, here is Catch Me, because we never posted that MV if you want some more recent TVXQ!!

Chanyeol's day of birth!

Happy Birthday to Exo's Chanyeol, the boy with the beautiful face, great hair, and a voice that doesn't match the rest of him! No seriously, when I first saw him, I thought he was pretty and then I was listening to Exo's Two Moons and I was shocked to hear what his voice sounded like. It sure doesn't match the rest of him. Today, Chanyeol turns 20 and he is said to be one of the most hyper members of EXO and this makes total sense because, really, he is just a kid. Here are a few pictures of him and then I'll post him and Kris singing Two Moons so you can see what I mean about body and voice not matching. He is the one talking/rapping at 0:19

Happy Birthday Kevin!!!!

Oh my gosh! Today is the beautiful Kevin Woo's birthday!!! He has one of the most angelic voices I've ever heard and he is a beautiful person. Today he turns 21. Kevin is just all around perfect, his voice is beautiful, his personality is super sweet, he never gets mad, his English is flawless, and he does some of the best Aegyo! Kevin, we cannot get over how much we love you. No seriously, F4fighting! and I both pegged you as our favorite in U-Kiss right away, and then we fought over you, and then agreed that you're more than worthy to be placed in our Corner of Sharing. We love you!!! I mean, how can you not love that beautiful face? The song at the end is one he sang when he was back in his old group, Xing, and honestly, no girl in her right mind would ever want to forget her memories with Kevin.

*Screams* Yang Yoseob is releasing a Single?!?!?!?! Releasing on November 26th, 2012, the song is entitled "Caffeine". While I absolutely adore Yoseob, I'm not so sure how I feel about him playing the darker, abusive, addicted, detached, destructive type of guy. I love the cute, wide-eyed, smiling, embarrassed, baby-faced, Yoseob, so while I want to see him try his hand at a different side and a Single, I'm a little torn by my love for his cuteness. I'm a little unsure of this one. It sounds like Junhyung is doing the rap portion of this song, which might explain the darker tone of it cause his voice is a little rougher and wouldn't fit in a soft beautiful ballad; then again, maybe Yoseob just wanted to break away from his good boy look. I am excited, just a little unsure.

RETURN of Lee Seung Gi

Lee Seung Gi has released a new music video! The music video for the title song of his 5.5th mini album, I don't really understand the whole .5 but whatever, was released late at night yesterday/really early this morning! This music video is called Return. I'm going to go on about the lighting in this music video for a bit cause, as many of you may have noticed, I love it when directors play around with the lights and give us beautiful tones and colors. The muted light matches the mood, Lee Seung Gi's soft voice, and the story of this video.
It seems that this video is about Lee Seung Gi remembering his first love, the things they did together, the troubles they faced, jealousy, and the sad departure they had. I'm unsure about the reason why they seemed to stop being together, I guess the piano key was the main factor but I'm not positive. Doesn't really matter cause it's a beautiful music video and a beautiful voice.

KRY Teasing us with a Teaser

OH MY FREAKING HECK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow. I about cried when I watched this teaser video. Wow. My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE singing trio of ALL TIME is releasing another song. In fact they're releasing an album!! In Japanese! Now this album is only two songs, the second song being called "ハナミズキ (Hanamizuki)", but that's alright. the Title song, and the MV teaser, is call Promise You and the album will be released on January 23, 2013. Ouch. KRY, why are you making us wait that long? Such torment!! Oh. Okay. Now onto the teaser video.
I love the lighting in this video. It's very bright but muted, not dulled, but it does look like a sheet of tissue paper has been put over the screen. I also love their clothes, very classy, sharp, and gorgeous! Not gonna lie, I'm not wild about Yesung's hair, he's gone back to blonde; I like it best when he's dark brown, black or even that red he was sporting for a short amount of time. Not blonde. Don't like the blonde as much. Sungmin and Eunhyuk can go back to blonde but Yesung shouldn't, he looks strange. Kyuhyun just as beautiful as he always does. And Ryeowook.... That high note he hits in this teaser seriously made me want to cry. That was... beyond words beautiful. Wow, I didn't even count how many times I replayed that one and a half second section. That was... breathtaking. And of course he looks amazing, as always. *sigh*
Well here is the teaser video, watch it over and over again like I did. Love it as much as I did, and then bawl when you see the release date posted for two months later. *Sob* So beautiful!

So TVXQ is releasing another song and music video. Yep, that's right, another one. It seems like they just released Catch Me and they're tossing another one out there. This one is called Humanoids... Humanoids are creatures that resemble humans but aren't, so they're not human I suppose... Whatever, hopefully I'll like it better than I liked Catch Me. Here is the teaser for their new music video which comes out on November 24th!!
